SENIOR CITIZENS FELLOWSHIP

Better healthcare and nutritional awareness have enhanced the life-span of people in all countries. There are many senior members (sixty or more of age), in our UK/Europe Zone. Consequently, old-age related challenges are also seen on the rise. In order to develop a healthy and positive attitude towards old age, the organisation, ‘Senior Citizens Fellowship’ was initiated., "To contribute their vast experience and knowledge for the benefit of the younger generation and well-functioning of the church activities.

Membership :

Any member of the parish who has attained the age of sixty or more years.

Objective :

  • "That the aged men (or women) be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience" (Titus 2:2).
  • Build up a strong fellowship among the elderly members of the parish, to be a blessing to others.
  • Share the experience and leadership qualities with others for spiritual growth and witnessing Jesus Christ.
  • Develop a positive attitude towards old age as our Lord is in control of everything.

Many in this group have strong emotional connect to various activities within their Parish and Congregation and have made significant contributions to the growth of the parish and congregation.
